A Joyful Tribute to Srila Prabhupada

Hare Krishna! The primary section of Bhaktivedanta Model School celebrated Srila Prabhupada's Appearance Day with immense devotion. The day began with Std. 6 student Chaitanya Sayal performing the Panchamrita Abhishek of Srila Prabhupada. Std. 4 students added a delightful touch by bringing various juices for the Abhishek, creating a colourful and fragrant offering. The air was filled with soulful kirtan led by Std. 5 students, setting the spiritual tone.
A heartwarming moment came as the children watched a video from the Abhay Charan series. It depicted Srila Prabhupada's early childhood when he received his Radha Govinda deities as a gift from his father. His father's guidance on deity worship remained with Srila Prabhupada throughout his life.
The students actively participated, with Std. 1 preparing lemon juice as a bhoga offering and Std. 2 carefully plucking flower petals for the Pushpabhishek. Std. 3 sang the touching song, "Yadi Prabhupada na hote, to kya hota..." and each child brought dry bhoga as their personal offering.
The secondary section of Bhaktivedanta Model School paid tribute to Srila Prabhupada on his Appearance Day with profound reverence. After a melodious kirtan by class 10 students, students from classes 6 to 10 shared anecdotes and stories in English, Hindi, and Sanskrit, illustrating the profound impact of Srila Prabhupada's teachings.
The dedicated teachers also expressed their heartfelt offerings, and the occasion was graced by the presence of Tulasi Prabhu. The event culminated in a grand Pushpabhisheka and Guru Vandana, followed by the delightful treat of Srila Prabhupada's favourite, Kachori.
Both sections of the school came together to celebrate this special day, basking in the blessings of Srila Prabhupada and strengthening their spiritual connection.
